Wendy Gast is a lifelong equestrian whose extensive career and passion for horses have led her to a fulfilling role at Promise Landing Farm. With years of knowledge and experience in the equine world, Wendy's journey includes running her own business, working in accounting and finance for a publicly traded company, and culminating in a successful career in the non-profit sector. In 2012, she served as a Founding Board Member for a startup therapeutic center and transitioned to a full-time employee as the Program Director. Realizing her true passion lay in therapeutic riding, Wendy obtained her PATH TRI certification in 2016.

Wendy's background with PATH International centers, business acumen, and extensive equine experience equips her with the skills needed to support the mission of Promise Landing Farm. She is known for striving to achieve the highest level of accreditation and experience, being a supportive team player, and approaching her work with professionalism and responsibility. Her personality shines through in her kindness, sincerity, and thoughtfulness, as she enjoys helping people and encouraging them to achieve their goals.

One of Wendy's favorite things about Promise Landing Farm is the excellent job management does in supporting the staff, riders, and horses — especially the horses. She believes the farm's existence is crucial as she has witnessed the extraordinary, life-changing experiences that Equine Assisted Services provide to participants, families, and the community. The healing power of the horse offers an unparalleled gift, positively impacting everyone involved, including those fortunate enough to work at Promise Landing Farm.
