Stephen Jackson

Facility Manager

Stephen's love for horses and farm life began in 2013 when he started volunteering at Maryland Therapeutic Riding in Crownsville, Maryland. Over the years, he became a valuable member of their team, participating in hippotherapy and therapeutic riding lessons as a horse leader and sidewalker. Stephen also contributed significantly as a handyman, maintaining buildings and vehicles and assisting with mowing each summer.

When Stephen learned about the facility manager position at Promise Landing Farm, he was immediately excited and eager to join a new and growing PATH organization. His skills and experience made him a perfect fit for the role, and he quickly became an indispensable member of the team. Known for his self-management, organization, and carpentry skills, Stephen ensures that the farm runs smoothly and efficiently.

Stephen's kindness, cooperativeness, and ambition drive his commitment to working for a nonprofit organization that improves the lives of others. Stephen firmly believes in the therapeutic benefits of the horse-human connection and finds joy in knowing that his work contributes to a healing and supportive environment for everyone involved.
