Michelle Doell

Volunteer Cordinator

Michelle Doell brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for horses to her role as Volunteer Coordinator at Promise Landing Farm. With a 25-year career in television news, Michelle moved to Washington, DC as a morning show producer. Her skills in problem-solving, attention to detail, and active listening, honed through years of coordinating and adapting schedules, make her exceptionally suited for her current role.

Growing up as a self-proclaimed "barn rat," Michelle credits barns with teaching her many life lessons and bringing her immense joy and peace. When she first walked into Promise Landing Farm, she immediately felt at home. Inspired by her mother's dedication as a volunteer coordinator, Michelle understands the profound impact of volunteering and strives to foster a supportive and cohesive volunteer community at the farm.

Michelle's favorite aspect of Promise Landing Farm is the incredible group of volunteers, whose teamwork and dedication make each lesson a collaborative effort. She also deeply appreciates the horses and the unique connections formed between volunteers, riders, and trainers.

For Michelle, Promise Landing Farm represents more than just a place to ride. It embodies a space where everyone can find peace and joy through the connection between humans and horses. She believes that the farm is a sanctuary where individuals can experience profound relationships, not only with the horses but also with the community of people involved.
