Kathy Taishoff brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role at Promise Landing Farm. Her career began in the construction industry, where she worked on natural disaster clean-up projects contracted with FEMA. She then transitioned to the marine industry, financing yachts, and later moved into real estate with Gulf Coast International Properties in Naples, Florida. While she maintains an active real estate license, Kathy has lived in Annapolis, Maryland for the past seven years and no longer practices real estate.
Kathy's diverse professional background has equipped her with key skills that greatly benefit her work at Promise Landing Farm. Her expertise in sales and contracts, business and office operations management, and finance and budget analysis are invaluable assets to the organization. Personally, Kathy is known for her ability to analyze all components of a problem before making decisions, communicate effectively with people, and always look for the positives in every situation.
Kathy and her husband, Rob, are also the founders of Promise Landing Farm. They purchased the property to create an inclusive therapeutic riding facility for individuals with intellectual disabilities, driven by a passion for helping others and creating inclusive opportunities. One of her favorite aspects of Promise Landing Farm is knowing that the horses and therapeutic riding lessons are making a significant difference in the lives of those in need.
