Kaitlyn McComb
Community Programs Manager
A Lexington, Virginia native, Kaitlyn brings a dynamic blend of leadership, business expertise, and equestrian passion to her role as Community Programs Manager at Promise Landing Farm. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Business from the University of Mount Union, where she was a standout student-athlete and captain of the six-time Ohio Athletic Conference Championship Women’s Lacrosse team.
Kaitlyn’s professional journey began in professional sports and private aviation, where she honed her skills in sales, operations, and client relations—generating nearly $1 million in revenue for the Washington Commanders. However, her lifelong love of horses ultimately led her to pursue a career in the equestrian industry. After leasing multiple horses, working in barn management, and purchasing her own horse, Lincoln, she developed a deep understanding of horsemanship and equine care.
Her introduction to therapeutic horsemanship in 2024 was a turning point, igniting her passion for inclusive equestrian programming. At Promise Landing Farm, Kaitlyn combines her strategic mindset and equine experience to strengthen community engagement, volunteer coordination, and program outreach. With a talent for organization and a natural ability to connect with people, she helps create an environment where volunteers, participants, and horses thrive.
Kaitlyn is dedicated to making Promise Landing Farm a place where everyone feels welcome and empowered through the magic of horses. She loves seeing the joy, confidence, and connections that blossom in the barn and is passionate about creating opportunities for those who might not otherwise have access. For Kaitlyn, it’s more than just a job—it’s a way to share her love of horses and make a meaningful difference every day.
