Caitlin's passion for riding began at the age of eight in Spain, where she spent three years competing in international show jumping. At 13, she transitioned to eventing and, by 18, she secured a working student position with a professional rider. Afterward, she worked as a groom and barn manager for Matthew Flynn for five years and continues to freelance groom as needed.
In 2013, Caitlin fell in love with therapeutic riding which combined her equestrian skills with her lifelong exposure to special education through her mother. As a child, she frequently helped in her mother’s Sepcial Education classroom, gaining invaluable experience in emotional and behavioral management. This background prepared her to merge her two passions: horses and helping students. Her caring, hard-working, and helpful nature shines through in her work, making her an asset to Promise Landing Farm.
Caitlin is drawn to the judgment-free environment at Promise Landing Farm, where everyone is accepted as they are. She appreciates how the farm meets riders where they're at, striving to help them achieve their personal goals. For Caitlin, Promise Landing Farm is a safe space for both kids and adults to be themselves, fostering a sense of community and personal growth.
