Promise Landing Farm is thrilled to announce Caitlin Martin as our new Executive Director! Caitlin, who has been the Site Director at our Melwood location for over three years, will officially take the reins this summer. We are excited to see her bring her experience and passion to this leadership role.
Meet Caitlin Martin
Caitlin's journey with horses began at the age of eight while her family was stationed in Spain. She quickly fell in love with show jumping, competing up to 1.30 meters. Upon returning to the United States, she started participating in local hunter shows and earned her C-3 rating with De La Brooke Pony Club.
In high school, Caitlin expanded her horizons to eventing, training and competing with local eventer Sam Allen. After graduating in 2008, she worked as a groom, barn manager, and rider for Matt Flynn of Flynn Sport Horses, gaining invaluable experience in the equestrian world.
Caitlin's passion for therapeutic riding began in 2013 when she joined Melwood as the Equestrian Program Coordinator. She earned her PATH certification in 2014, solidifying her commitment to using horsemanship to help others. In 2021, Caitlin transitioned to Promise Landing Farm, where her dedication and expertise have continued to shine.
We are confident that Caitlin’s leadership will bring new energy and growth to Promise Landing Farm. Her deep-rooted love for horses, coupled with her extensive experience and compassionate approach, make her the perfect fit to guide our organization into the future.
